The stunning and much loved porn actress Jessica Drake was born in the state of Texas spending most of her young years in the cities of San Antonio and El Paso. While studying psychology in El Paso Jessica took a part time job as a dancer in a local strip club to help her pay for her studies.

While working here she obtained some contacts and through an agency she acquired a similar dancing job in another club where many adult film industry gurus frequented. It was while working here that she met porn movie director Michael Raven. It was this director and his porn actress wife Sydnee Steele that slowly introduced Drake into the porn business.

Ms. Drake started out by appearing in magazines and appearing on Playboy TV and then in 1999, she finally made the decision to become a porn movie and starred in her first movie, which was directed by Raven. Only a year later in 2000 she was nominated for Best New Starlet at the AVN Awards. It was also at this early stage in her career that she signed contract with the studio Sin City, but she left the organization after a short time stating that things didn’t really work out. Later in 2003, she signed an exclusive contract with Wicked Pictures, after turning down numerous offers from other companies.

On top of her work in hardcore films, she has also starred in many softcore movies made for cable TV and she has made guest appearances on several TV series. Jessica also appeared with several other porn actors on The Tyra Banks Show episode, ‘A Day in the Life of a Porn Star’. As well as this she also had the honor of co-hosting the 2007 AVN Awards, the 2009 XRCO Awards and the F.A.M.E. Awards in July 2010.

She also tried her hand at writing some screenplays during her time with Sin City writing films the ‘Dating 101’, ‘Love Always’ and ‘Just Between Us’. Her obvious progression then moved her onto directing where her directorial debut ‘What Girls Like’ came in the 2008.
